I hope that you all enjoyed the beautiful weather yesterday!  Although I had to spend most of it indoors, it was still an enjoyable day.

  Last night I had the pleasure of attending the Keystone Kabaret at Keystone High School.  It was their annual dinner concert with the High School Choirs providing the entertainment.  The theme was the music from broadway plays.  They had gone to NYC this Spring, where invited to sing at St. Patrick's Cathedral, and had attended the broadway show "The Lion King".  I was amazed at the talent of the choir member,s especially those who had solos.  While I was there to support my nephew, I was also impressed with the entire group.  In today's world we rarely hear about the good that our young people do. I can't help but wonder what it would be like if the news would only report the good that the young poeple do.  It would be my hope that it would inspire more to do good things to get recognition and their name in the news, instead of the bad and negative.  In listening to the short bio's of the senior members, it was easy to see that these young people will go on to accomplish great things.  While they may be leaving big shoes to be filled by the underclassmen, I have no doubt that they will grow into them just fine and continue to leave a positive impression, just as those before them have done.  To the Keystone Choirs and their director - "THANK YOU" for the priviledge and pleasure of being able to share what was truly a wonderful evening!  Best wishes to all of you!!
